Retainers
What are Retainers?
A retainer is an agreement between parties for an ongoing long-term period, fixed-term period or until a specific project is completed- (such as a client and a lawyer; or a consultant and a client) – it sets out the terms of the ongoing business relationship and the services to be provided. The retainer is a very flexible document that can be used for a panoply of business objectives that need to be met by parties teaming together to deliver on a project or product- and it may be for a fixed fee or an hourly rate.
